Hello, September! Summer is rapidly coming to an end and fall is starting soon. Luckily us Californians don’t have to say goodbye to the warm weather just yet. Since summer hasn’t officially ended, I’ve still been able to enjoy some recent outdoor festivals and concerts. I wanted to share some of the fall concert outfit ideas I put together.
Made In America
A couple of weeks ago, I was able to attend Budweiser’s Made In America Monument Series that was hosted at Crissy Field in San Francisco. The festival featured electronic dance music group Cash Cash, Bay Area hip hop legend E-4o, and alternative rocker Day Wave. The best thing about this festival is that everything was FREE! Free entry, lots of free swag, and free beer. It was such a fun event filled with lots of activities and good music. On top of all that, Crissy Field is right next to Golden Gate Bridge so the view was AMAZING!
Although California generally has nice and warm weather year round, San Francisco tends to always be a bit cooler. This event took place right near the water so the weather was cooler. I also knew it would get even colder in the evening. I wanted to make sure I was dressed very comfortably for the festival but also had layers for later on.
The wind was intense so I was gripping onto my hat for dear life. Eventually, my hat lost the battle to the wind…

I also recently had the chance to go to another free concert. This time it was for the Eephus concert tour hosted by Janelle Monae and Wondaland. The free concert was sponsored by Toyota and took place at The Independent in San Francisco. The concert featured Janelle Monae as well as her Wondaland artists – Jidenna, Roman GianArthur, Deep Cotton, and St. Beauty. I loved every single song that they played and had such a great time at the concert.
This concert was in the evening in San Francisco so it was definitely chilly and I had to make sure I was dressed in layers.
What concerts and festivals did you attend this summer? I’d love to know in the comments below!
Thanks for reading!
