I’ll be attending Coachella for the first time ever and I’m so excited! I’m getting so much inspiration from the different makeup and hair looks I’ve seen. I’m so inspired and have been trying out some makeup looks on my own. Today, I’m sharing how I created a festive and colorful Coachella makeup look.
I love Coachella makeup. It’s fun, colorful, and out of the box. I’m trying out different looks to prepare for Coachella and it has really pushed me out of my comfort zone when it comes to makeup looks. It’s also helped me improve my makeup skills!
For an added pop of color, line on top of the black eyeliner with a liquid lipstick. Using the Amore Matte Metallic Lip Cremes in the shades Materialistic and Matte About You from Milani Cosmetics, apply a thin line above the black line.
On To The Face…
Since I’ll be in the desert sun, I want to make sure my face makeup isn’t too heavy. So, far a lighter makeup look apply concealer to any blemishes to spot conceal. Then, if you have oily skin like myself, set your face with a powder foundation. For concealer, I use Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Fawn from L.A. Girl Cosmetics. To set my face, I use the Studio Fix Powder Foundation from MAC Cosmetics. I love that it still gives me pretty good coverage.
To finish of the face, add a peachy blush like the Mineral Pressed Blush in the shade Peach Sheen from IBY Beauty. To add that summertime glow, a highlighter like the shade Illuminati from Artist Couture is great.
…Back To The Eyes
Now, to finish the eye look! Line the bottom lashes with a blue eyeliner pencil. This will serve as a base for the color that will be added later. For the blue eyeliner, I used the Drama Liqui-Pencil longwear eyeliner in the shade Côte D’azur from Lancôme.
To add even more color to the look, place eyeshadow on top of the liner. I placed a teal in the first third of the lower lash line, blue in the middle third of the eye, and purple in the last third. Follow that purple up to draw a wing under the black eyeliner.
For the shadows, I used Cleopatra in the Nubian 2 palette from Juvia’s Place and Arctic and Beat Down in the Vice4 palette from Urban Decay. I also popped Zuri from the Nubian 2 palette in my inner eye corner.
And here is the finished look!
