Just because summer has come to a close, doesn’t mean you can’t still rock that summer glow! I have been loving the touch of glow I’ve been receiving using products from The Estee Edit. I’m sharing a makeup tutorial for how I achieved the ultimate glow.
The Estee Edit
This was my first time trying products from The Estée Edit. I had heard about the parent company, Estée Lauder. Recently, I have been hearing more and more about The Estée Edit via social media.
I received these complimentary products from Influenster for testing purposes. The box from Influenster included: The Barest Lipstick in In The Buff, Pore Vanishing Stick, Flash Illuminator in Day Light, and Beam Team Hydrate + Glow.
Ultimate Glow Makeup Tutorial
I started this look by making sure I had a clean and moisturized face. The Pore Vanishing Stick aims to blur the look of pores as well as minimize oil and shine. I applied the stick to my forehead and cheeks since that’s where I’m oiliest and where my pores are largest.
After applying the Pore Vanishing Stick, I applied the Beam Team Hydrate + Glow. Beam Team is a moisturizing lotion with a slight shimmer so it adds a hint of glow to the skin.
Next, I applied the L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation in the shade Creme Cafe (my absolute FAVORITE drugstore foundation). I love that even though I was wearing a matte foundation, the Beam Team lotion still allowed me to achieve glowing skin. This is a great solution for my fellow oily skin ladies who need a matte foundation to avoid looking like a greaseball, but still want that dewy look.
I finished by setting my foundation with MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation in C7.
Finishing The Look
To finish the rest of my face and my eyes, I used the Tarteist Contour Palette from Tarte Cosmetics, in collaboration with MakeupShayla. MakeupShayla is one of my favorite beauty gurus, so I definitely had to support!
The thing I love about this contour palette is that you can use many of the colors as eyeshadows also. Talk about more bang for your buck!
I used the darkest brown color in my crease and the shimmery color in the middle of the palette all over my lid.
Then, I used the contour palette to contour my face as well as add blush and highlight.
Next, I finished the look by adding more highlight to really perfect that glowy look. The Beam Team moisturizer also includes a cream highlight in the flip cap. Yay for two-in-one products! I used my fingers to dab the cream highlight to the highest points of my cheekbones.
I also added The Barest Lipcolor all over my lips. It’s a pretty nude mauve that is very moisturizing.
The Final Look
Here is the final glowy look! Who else is here for achieving the perfect glow all year long?! What products do you use to get glowing skin?
